"Located just besides the train station, very convenient if you are doing the Bergen-Flåm railway trip. Room size is adequate for 3 nights stay. Free coffee is available at lobby. Laundry service is available free of charge at sister hotel (Grand Hotel Terminus) next door, 1 washer and 1 dryer. Breakfast spread is adequate, only one or 2 hot items changes daily. Gym is very well equipped. Overall a very pleasant stay at Zander."

"The reception staff are friendly and helpful. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the train station and light rail station for the airport. The breakfast is good. We came back after away for the 3-day Norway in a Nutshell tour. We left our suitcases in the hotel storage room while we were away and travelled relatively hand-free."

"Cute little hotel in close proximity to the fisherman’s market and about 8 minute walk to Bryggen. Was easy to get to with the airport bus (about 3 minutes from the stop) I was a bit worried about the lack of air conditioning as the weather was quite hot while staying, but it wasn’t a problem. I kept the dial continuously at -5, not sure if that really did anything. Friendly and helpful people working behind the desk at check in and out. Breakfast was a wide assortment of local and western foods. Liked the assortment. There didn’t really seem to be a worker whose job it was to clear tables as that process was slow. But there was space upstairs to eat. Room was very clean with big windows, but can’t see out them as they are stained. Bed was a bit soft for my liking, like really soft and the shower leaked out onto the floor, but I think it’s reasonable considering the other positives and the price point of the hotel. Would definitely consider staying here again if ever in Bergen."

"PERFECT. The hotel is central, behind the fish market, next to the old port, right in the market area. They gave us a free upgrade and provided us with the sea view room. If I had known what kind of view that room had, I would have chosen it from the start because at night, there is no better view of the old port than from that room. The room was modern and spacious, as was the bathroom. Regarding breakfast, you won't miss anything; on the contrary, there were many delicious options. The staff were extremely polite, always smiling, and ready to answer all our questions. I couldn't have lunch at their restaurant because they were closed, but I will do so when I visit the city again. My experience was excellent. I urge you to book rooms with a sea view."

"I had a dream holiday to Norway for my 50th and this was a wonderful hotel for my nights in Bergen. It is fairly central and close to the beautiful views of Bryggen. The staff were lovely, and the breakfast was the best I had my entire trip, it had a great selection and was cooked perfectly. I would definitely stay there again."

Breakfast is not included, but you can prepare food in all the hotel apartments. Every one of our hotel apartments are fully equipped kitchens with a coffee maker, kettle, oven or hob, dishwasher, and refrigerator, or in some cases a refrigerator/freezer. They all have a sofa and chair set. The biggest rooms and apartments have their own dining table. All rooms have free Wi-Fi and brand-new television with casting. You will find towels and bed linen in the apartment when you arrive, as well as soap and shampoo. Your apartment will include a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. In addition, you can use the washing machine and tumble dryer in the laundry room on the second floor. None of the apartments have a telephone.
Ole Bull Scene, one of Norway’s best venues for shows, is right next door to the hotel. As well as enjoying the most exciting shows, it offers wonderful culinary experiences in Storm Brasserie and the chance to unwind in Storm Bar, which has its own terrace. In the autumn of 2021, we will start offering special accommodation packages that include shows!
